We use the Telecom NZ and Vodafone Networks.
They claim coverage is 99% of where we work live and play. All major roads and areas have coverage. Obviously there are remote areas such as in the South Island Fiordland where coverage is poor.
In general when driving you would not be more 15 minutes from reasonable signal.

The NZ$ has dropped around 30% this year which means NOW is the perfect time to get the cheapest trip for years. Scotties rates are the same as last year. Petrol is down to $1.62, the NZ$ is down - its time to come to New Zealand.
